Our Story
Bent Oak Ranch is a scenic farm welcoming weddings in Banks, Oregon. Located less than a 30 minute drive West of Portland. A convenient and accessible country escape where couples will marvel at the breathtaking scenery which surrounds the estate. The open fields, valley and mountain views, farmhouse and barn are a classic setting.
Facilities and Capacity
Bent Oak Ranch is at the heart of the farming community, owned by the same family for 5 generations since its foundation in 1860 and it is still an active farm to this day. The oweners invite couples to celebrate the start of their own new family-unit on its stunning grounds. A carpet of vibrant green covers the plains in which the estate is situated, with forest-covered hills rising up from the valley in the distance. The farm is named for the stately oaks that seclude it from the outside world, which help establish its tone of privacy, peace, and calm.
Couples can choose to marry against the backdrop of this natural splendor in an outdoor wedding under the clear blue sky. There is also plenty of room to erect a large tent for a reception for up to 350 guests on the farmhouse’s lawn in front of the iconic red barn. Before the event, the wedding party can take advantage of the property’s get-ready spaces. There is ample parking available on-site for guests arriving from out of town.
Services Offered
The owners are proud to welcome couples to their historic site, with large outdoor area and adjacent barn, bridal changing/prep facilities, plenty of parking, photo sites, all the support systems for an array of additional services and decorating modes that the owners help coordinate with their own preferred vendors or those of your choice. 8 am start time and midnight curfew allow a full day and setup and takedown can be done the day before and after if preferred.
